Problem with the start up screen with HL2.

It's nothing major but you know how when you start up the game and it shows the current level your on or something in the backround as a blur? But then it unblurs?

Well mine will not unblur. It did for the HL2 demo but not for the real game.

My specs are.(if you need)

geforce 6800 256mb PCI-E
Pentium D 2.8ghz
Windows xp HOME
160gb hard drive(90gb left)
1gig ram

I don't lock up. I can start the game just fine. It's just that the background of the starting screen is blurry instead of nice and clear.

Yes I do.

Yeah, that parameter automatically removes animated backgrounds. You'll have to remove that parameter to get the backgrounds.
