problems with graphics muti colors an on the faces on the characters...

When i set the game On High settings.. i get all these werid colors on the buildings, guns, and on the faces sometimes. I figured a way to stop it by just setting it to meduim. But what good is that... I think its something to do with my drivers so I uinstalled the driver an installed the driver that i got with the graphics card. Not the recent update. Works fine.. But why doesn't it seem to work with the newer version an not the old. Doesn't the new drivers enhance the visuals?
An the newest version of ati drivers have teh feature over driver..
