problems with grenades?

Has anybody else been having an issue with the HE grenades that, after they go off, it's about 5 to 10 seconds before you experience that temporary deafness? I want to know if it's a bug in my game or whether its happening with other people too
 
The same happens to me. I don't know whether it is a bug either. It started occuring a few patches ago (month - 6 weeks ago?) for me.
 
It's not a bug. It used to be that you would go deaf immediately the grenade blew. But, Valve mentioned in a change log that they delayed the sound for a few seconds to "hear the cool grenade sound effect". :p
 
ya I think the deafness is a nice touch, the effect changes as you move farther/closer to were the nade went off......very kewl :)

That has been happening to me for months now.
 
actually my game is bugged with that...I still go deaf imediately after a grenade goes off then when the first deafness subsides another ringing noise will go off 5 secs later...****ing annoying...

and while we're at it...anybody else have bugged flashbangs that will blind you around corners? if you throw a flashbang just around a corner(at the length you would be able to shoot thru corners in cs 1.6) you will still be blinded even when the grenade is not in sight :frown: annoying as hell!
 
I have a bug, not a bad bug though, where someone throws a flashbang at me and I'm blinded but another flash goes off and it cures it. My screen isn't white anymore...
 
`nades are very weak though
you need direct hits to kill someone on 100hp
 
man its a good job this hasnt already been posted like 128361615234 times already
