Hi guys,
Just having a bit of a problem with viewmodels and i've hit upon a dead end so i came here to see if anyone had an idea.
Basically, I'm changing the model for a weapon. Just a replacement. But it has come across one problem after another. (It's for Garry's Mod - I'm using 3ds Max 2009).
Is what it looks like in 3ds Max. Btw, the weapon model itself is purposely basic, i was hoping to finish it once the is cleared up.
When it's animated it works fine, goes to the right place, right rotation etc...
As you can see here. This is what it should look like in game...
However, the positioning is completely off. The weapon still moves with the animation, however it does not go to the right position, instead here...
As you can see, it is nowhere to be seen. I have tried modelling it so it would appear in the right place but to no avail (it is actually there - you can see it if you attack, but only for a few frames). Why is this happening and does anyone know how to fix it?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
JgcxCub.
