It's been quite a while since we've had any sort of update on it. It looks like they'll be discussing more of the technical aspects of the engine, rather than the game itself though:

Taming Your Game Production Demons: The Offset Approach
THURSDAY, MARCH 26

Time and cost are the demons that plague every game. We have created a content-centered development team, focusing on tools that magnify the impact of each individual artist and remove barriers to creativity. Offset?s editor and engine, still in production, are being designed and developed from the ground up to enable fast iteration with a WYSIWYG interface for optimal artist efficiency. In this presentation we will share the steps (and some missteps!) we took to give our artists the tools they need to tame the demons of their production pipeline. Presented by Remi Arnaud and Ian Lewis.

At least it's nice to know that the game is still in the works. I've been craving a quality FPS-style RPG for quite some time (Fallout 3 was alright, but not quite what I had in mind).

For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about:

I have been watching it for a long time but stopped. I hope it's only for pc or else I'll be highly dissapointed.

The trailer still looks better than anything else I can think of that is in development on PC

This game will never come out. It's a beautiful lie. It's been a beautiful lie for years.

:(

I'm surprised to see that this is still kickin, I thought it had died off ages ago.

Completely forgot about this. Glad they're still about and working their arses off.

I would rather their arses remained attached during the entire development period so their work remains unhindered by such medical complications.

It looks good, but not near as impressive back when the first vids came out. Lets hope this is not another Stalker (although it might already be just that).

Wow this GDC is going to be ****ing crazy..

same, it looks like Oblivion, the Witcher and Dark Messiah on crack

Awesome. I've been following Sam since the day he left S2 Games when he used to post a lot more technical stuff on the blog.

I also donated to them back in the day when they needed cash since they weren't bought by Intel yet.

The more I read about this game, the more I become impressed with it. This will either be a huge let-down, or a sure fire hit... or like Darkside said, will never come out.

Hopefully something that Oblivion and Dark Messiah never quite reached - awesome 1st/3rd person medieval combat.

Looking forward to this. Been following this game for years.

This game is looking awsome. I dont think there showing ingame footage at GDC . I think that what there site siad.

Demon's Souls for the PS3 has awesome 3rd person medieval combat in spades. Let's hope Project Offset can get it right for the PC crowd. I have been waiting for any substantive news on this game for quite some time. Lord knows what sort of machine it will require. Better be more scalable than some other engines out there....

Actually, the game might require Intel's Larrabee many-core processor, which is what Intel is supposedly actually showing off at GDC. Let's hope they show some videos of Project Offset as examples.
