What should I spend my shiny new upgrade on, the G3, or the G36C?

I was kinda doing it for the G36C, but I don't know :/

It depends, personally I like the G3 but the class overall compared to Support seems to be lacking. I don't play Spec Op enough to see the difference, but I think the G36C might do a bit more damage than the M4 variant (could be wrong).

You got the M95 / PKM / Dao already?

G36C is very accurate, you can pop off headshots at distances with 2 shot bursts no problem.

I was kinda leaning toward the G36C, because I remember playing with it a while back, and I really liked it

But i've been getting killed allot by G3's lately, and was wondering if that would be better.

Amazingly great upgrade on the ordinary Spec-Ops Guns.

I have both, and i never use the G3, because i didn't realise that the unlock means you get that rifle and removes having a grenade launcher from assault. I prefer the default guns or SF's unlock for it. The Spec-ops unlock i got recently and its amazing, accurate and powerful, a good choice i think.

g36 is my favorite gun, I get so many great kills with it. GO for it

the g3 is only worth investing in if you are proven as a really good infantry killer - i'm not, i prefer to have a role, not just be a run and gun type
Not saying it's not a good gun or that I amn't decent at infantry combat but because assault has so little going for it, you have to getting all your points through raw kills only and nothing else - I just can't compete for medals with the G3 unless I'm surrounded by idiots on Karkand

Thing about G3 is that it deals ridiculous amounts of power, kills unarmored in 3 shots and armored in 4. The downfall is that the gun's isn't that great in long range and the Assault guy's sprint can't sprint 5m without needing a breather.

Problem is itthere's a class that does that much better already, Support :|

Depends on what class you like. I personally say the G36C because it is a kickass gun and imo the assault class is pretty useless. You have nothing but a noob tube. Meh. And your sprint is shortened.

Both are great rifles, but I would go for the g36c first simply because I would never be special forces for MEC or Chinese if I didn't have that upgrade. I hate their jerk rifles.

I got the same question now actually, i've got all the unlocks and veterans for the 4 classes i play (Spec-ops, Sniper, Anti-tank and Assault) Got Medic, Engineer and Support left, and i hardly ever play any of those, and now i have an unlocks. What to pick? Jackhammer, L85A1 or PKM? Any ideas?

Ever since the patch, the L85A1 has become the least accurate assault rifle in the game.

I liked the L85A1 because of its scope and its accuracy. But it has kinda bad damage. And yes, the patch.

The PKM has high damages but since its a machinegun, less accuracy.

The Jackhammer was interesting to play with, but I felt that it was a waste.

Always fire from crouch or prone positions, try to use prone as much as possible since the accuracy is vastly improved whiled proned.

Medium-long range it's vital you burst or single shot, the deviation goes nuts and you won't hit the broad side of a barn if you hold it down, it may seems tempting but do that only for close range fights. Remember, the Support guns kill people in 3-4 shots (depending whether they have armor), so just make those shots count.

Just click shots off one at a time, don't even bother holding it full auto.

Clicking one at a time you can hit guys that you can barely even see.

I guess it's funny how usually long range, I use my SAW and still mow people down. I guess the skills I had before the patch are still with me. The SAW is one of my favorite, most deadly guns...besides the DAO.

You got the M95

Ugh, I regret choosing that weapon.

The SVD and Chinese Sniper Rifle is pratically 1 shot kill for headshot.
The M24... is godly in the least.

Got my basic Repair, Basic Ground Defense, and Veteran Anti Tank badges today

Got the vet AT badge in the last few minutes on karkand, and after that, since we were basically just hunting down the last guy (had all their spawns), I figured i'd go kit fishing (start picking up dead guys kits in hopes of getting to test out an unlock you want). Well, guess what, I got to test out the Jackhammer!

It pwns

Too small a magazine, but this guy was VERY far away for a shotgun, and I managed to soften him up with the jackhammer, then finish him off with my pistol.

Dunno, maybe it was just my EXTREME ranged shotgun skills.

But i'm happy

The M95 is really only worth it if you're going to unlock the L96 right after. Otherwise, I'd pick something else...

^ It is better than the SVD / Dragunov, I'd much rather use M95 over those two.

I've never ever used the jackhammer, so I can't really comment on it.

When I played with it, I was flying around karkand in a jeep, trying to find somebody to kill with it before the round ended, when suddenly, our artillery blew up.

So, I drove over to the blasted artillery gun as fast as I could, while the rest of my team went the other way.

Came around and saw a specops guy runnning around the mountain. Pumped him with buckshot, and he shot back. I turned back to the corner, pulled out my pistol, and shot him. KILL FOR ME

I prefer the bolt action snipers to the semi-auto ones. I just seem to get more kills with them. The M95 is a little more powerful too. And if you unlock the L9 after you'll be owning

The Jackhammer is pretty cool, looks nice, small magazine though
