Ok..i dont get it, i made a prop for my map and i put it as a plant in cs_office, but it doesnt show up on the map ingame.....whats wrong?

P.S. if it matters, part of the prop is underground so you cant see the bottom of it..

What type of prop is it? prop_static prop_physics prop_dynamic etc.?

I map for hl2dm and im sure alot of rules are the same... if you create it with the wrong prop ent it will not show up, if its meant to not move it needs to be prop_static, if it does move make it prop_phyics.

When i say "meant to not move" i mean how valve intended it, not how you want it to be. It has to be a movealbe object to begin with for it to move.

Oh, ok, thanks that answers my question ^_^

now my real question...is there any props of flowers? because im trying to make a flower bed, but i dont know how....

those are statics btw.

If someone could tell me what the garbage container in props_lab is i'd be very glad tho, cause that one dont show up for me when used on prop_static (error message shown) but it dont show up as physics either (no errors in compile nor console) and it's not the draw distances, i double checked that.

search in the de_inferno props

when i say flowers, i mean like induvidual or small groups, not a hugething like that.. but thans for trying to help

Most props will generate a warning in the BSP log or the in-game console if they're used wrongly. Always run with developer 2 so that you can see warnings like that.

has anyone ever made a reference list of props indicating their 'native' prop type? most i know from the game, but some are weird (like some of the lamps used in swinging lamp setups for example)
