PS3 production

I said this months ago:
"How many times can Sony shoot itself in the foot?"

I now say this:
"Sony must be a legless cripple by now..."
Quote me on it.

That doesnt make up for Star Wars Galaxies, and you damn well know it :P

I know I know, I was hoping that this was a new kind of bundle or promotion, to get gamers into it… :D

DONATE!
Sony PS3 Production:
9/2,000,000
:)

I don't get it. All consoles are delayed somewhere. Why not just make the date way far then move it sooner to make everyone happy. Amirite?

I hope the boat that is shipping all of these PS3s sinks in a storm... that would be funny.

You guys are all complaining now, but when the time comes you'll be back on your knees outside the shops begging them for their last PS3. They are such a huge company with such a huge fanbase, it's just inevitable, despite any hitches along the way.

Not quite as bad as it sounds. If that's true then the batteries going bad is pretty much a non-issue and while I doubt Sony will switch it out for free, it sounds like they may give you a deal on getting a new one. Also, it plugs in ... so you'll never be left with a completely lame controller.

One does wonder what the logic behind not letting you replace the batteries was though...

That's good if the batteries last longer than current batteries. Because in my old Logitech wireless mouse the battery started to hold a charge for a noticeably short amount of time within 2 years. Having Sony replace the controller, I wonder what that will involve. And will they replace them even out of warranty? It's too bad that there has to be that hassle when the batteries do indeed run out or can't hold a charge for long. But I guess it is accepted by the industry (ipod anyone?).

(ipod anyone?)

No thanks !

:E

Maybe it's so should the battery fail, you have to buy a new one, therefore give sony more money. What a crazy marketing strategy !!!

xD

/end cynicism (i'm blatantly going to end up buying one anyway)

Blue Ray causes a problem again? D:

Nice one.

Can't change batteries?

Nice one.

=/

At least us PC people get the ability to have a HD-DVD and Blueray drive in one!

And Sony say this;

We would like to reasure users that your PS3 exploding is an effect of realistic graphics and immerses the player even more so by burning your eyebrows and leaving your blind for a temporary length between 1 to 3 weeks.

but explosions don't really immerse you in Hello Kitty Adventure.

If it wasnt for the fact I have never owned nor wanted a console, maybe :P

I never wanted a PS3.

I never wanted a PS3.

In fact the last console I ever had was the PS2, and thats because I got it for christmas the year after it came out.

My PC is enough, plus Im always upgrading for work needs anyways, so im always higher end.

so if the battery of the controller is out,I will hav to buy a new controller
