Tosser aka wanker aka a person who is a twat, all interchangeable. Tosser is quite tame, it may be used more in the company of recently aquired friends, whereas with long term friends, wanker may be more applicable.

I find 'tosser' can have quite a satisfying effect if preceded by the right expletive.

'You ****ing tosser' has served me well over the years. A little emphasis, with a little spit, can go a long way (that's saved just for chavs tho )

My girlfriend, who grew up in England, says Tosser means a person who masturbates a lot. That kinda makes sense.
