Is this PSU any good for my comp, which you can find here.

I was told that I need a branded PSU to ensure quality, and from my past experience novatech own brands are quality, but i would like another opinion on this before i buy it.

If i was you i would go for a brand like antec, thermaltake, zalman, enermax these are all quality brands and if you are paying less than £50 or so for a 500 watt power supply i porbably means it will die on yo within 5 minutes taking the rest of your PC with you.

i agree on getting a brand name power supply instead. although many have generic PS's that don't go bad for years.

True, but it isnt really worth the risk, you might as well spend £30 extra or whatever and be assured that if it does blow it won't take £2000 worth of kit with it...

Ok Im getting a thermaltake 480W PSU. But i found in a thread i created about compatability that my motherboard isnt that good, and the thing is that the Prosessor and the orginal memeory is already attached and tested. I dont have the money to buy a new mobo, What shoul i do, I read the manual and it says bout memory configurations Im just getting worryed and confused that his wont work.

Here is the sitck of 512DDR im getting, im also getting an extra 256 witch is the same.

Here is the motherboard bundle i got, all i want to know is will all this work.
