I designed and modeled this pulse rifle over today because i want to improve my unwraped and want to start learning to skin and i thought a nice low polly model would be best for that. Comes to around 3000 tri's probly abit much for what it is but all them cylinders are brining it up to that high figger.

Will probly start unwraping and mayb a little skinning tomorrow.

The design is just incredible, make the trigger and go skin it :D

I like it. It has a very 'Warhammer 40k' feel to its square-ness.

The concept is abit boxy but because im a crappy drawer really :) I did chamfer up some of the edges when i was modeling.

ahhhg i always miss the damn trigger! ill go stick that in in abit and ill start unwraping as well :)

I did get inspired by some of the weapons in 40 k, i really love the style and well i tryed to get it into my model.

j00 n00bie missing the trigger out like that :P great model though :D

Ok, just finished unwraping the main body of the gun, ill post the unwraps incase anyone wants to have a go at skinning her.

no no no..
don't overlap, rather use another map.
it will look alot nicer.

those maps waste quite alot of space, you should watch a few UV mapping tuts.
