When I'm playing on any Punkbuster server, I can be on it for a while and then I get kicked. It says that the reason has something to do with an "Empty Win32 Module List." I don't understand. I don't have any hacks or anything. Punkbuster has given me nothing but problems every time I have to use it. Do I need some kind of Punkbuster update? Thanks for any help.

Please does anyone have any clue what's wrong? I go to a server and it says I have an old version and then I get kicked. I don't know why the **** it says I have an old version because I went to Punkbuster.com and downloaded a program called pbweb and placed it in my BF2/PB folder and let it do auto updates. It updated everything and I still get the same message. So I went there again and downloaded every client update and it still does not work. I bought the game to play it, not be hassled by it. At this point, Punkbuster is the one being the punk, not me.

Anybody have any ideas at all?

i have a "old version" thingy appearing, but nothing else

Okay I figured out the problem. When you get the old version warning, it's not you, it's the server. The server is running an older version of Punkbuster. Your Punkbuster will try to downgrade itself to match what version the server has. Often times it can't downgrade quickly enough and you get kicked. So you can type "pb_security 0" (no quotes) in the console and it will fix the problem more quickly. It should help most of the time.

Also download pbweb.exe from here: www.evenbalance.com/downloads.pbweb.exe

Put this in your Battlefield2/pb folder and run the exe from there. It will automatically update Punkbuster.
