Purchasing CS:S only

I havent seen a thread about this so sorry if there has been one already.

With all the talk today about CS:S etc, I am amazed you can not purchase CS:S from steam on its own. As I see it you have to buy HL2 on steam in order to play CS:S early (today).

I would purchase HL2 on steam with no question if I knew I would get the box, manual and CD sent to me when HL2 was released. This is not the case. As I see it if you purchase HL2 on steam you get a CD key and a download link. Nothing more.

Whenever I buy a game I want a box and CD to have. So because of this I can not carry on playing CS:S (ive been playing beta) and have to wait for HL2 to come out in the shops.

So either please make CS:S purchaseable (great word ) on its own through steam or if you buy HL2 on steam send me the box

Nah. Looks like you will have to wait, besides whats so great about the box? You get less than you would get through Steam (assuming you purchase the Silver or Gold), and you pay abit more for what? Some cardboard?

CS:S is HL2 multiplayer. Buy one, you get the other.

The only thing that worries me is steam account hacking.
