Q3 Trickjumping movie

you forgot to mention that the files are 514MB's
 
Trickjumping is one of the coolest things about the Quake series gameplay. Some of the more realistic games try to eradicate things like this, it's good to kick back in a good ole' arcade shooter and go wild with the navigation possibilities. I hope this type of movement is retained to some extent in Quake4 multiplayer. I always have preferred arcade shooters more than real world tactical shooters.

The file is still sitting fully downloaded in your temp directory ...
 
what the... the video file in the zip I donwloaded was corrupt... the zip works but the video file inside is corrupt... why would someone zip a 500 meg corrupt video file?! :frown:

I get very very bad artifacts when using WMP and MPC... trying to open it in vdub (which should open just about anything) just says error 100 on every single frame... it's obviously corrupted... I'm redownloading it from filefront. Hopefully the filefront one is a different copy that is better.
 
Bwah second download didn't work... Maj did yours have these artifacts??
 
mine had artifacts too, just open every download link in the zip to get all of the codecs, and then use MPC....it needs newest XviD, and something for multiple audio streams...

its really cool....but is that a mod or something? I don't remember being able to do that... or do they just have god mode on?
 
I tried windows media player, didn't work, tried winamp didn't work, tried zoom player didn't work, tried quicktime player, I got some distorted 1fps images and no sound and that's practically useless.

How do you play this?
 
OKay, this might help you guys out.

1)About being corrupt. Try unpacking the movie file to another harddrive.
2) About artifacts. Download VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ You dont need plugins after that, it downloads everything itself.

Also, the movie is like 550mb :)

Worked with VLC, that was so awesome, watched it with track one and seriously have no idea how it's gonna be with the other tracks considering all the stuff that was synced to that track.... :eek:
 
Worked after I downloaded the latest codec, and only when I used the media player it suggested.

Very awesome, very well-made. As good as any production video.
Would be cool to see an HL2 mod with that kind of action ;)
Course I could just get Q3, I only played the demo. :( and that was a long time ago.
 
I need to watch it 4 more times, once with each audio track. lol.
 
My audio switching doesn't work for it :(

Good movie tho! :thumbs:
