QQ(quick question). Whats Prima book sampler?

Is it the same as the book Half Life 2: Raising The Bar(Published by Prima)?

Or is it just a sample of the HL2:RtB book?

I don't think we have a good answer to that. It may just be a sample (now that would be stupid imho) or it's the same whole book but with a different design (you know pocket form versus hard cover).

For example. The HUGE book hat came with the WarCraft 3: Collector's Edition (very thick book with tons of concept art) had a paperback similar to a pocket book. The same book could be bought in stores but with a hard cover paperback. Or it was the other way around. The point is, that there were two different versions available. This might be the same thing. Maybe.

My guess is the sampler will contain a bit from the strategy guide, a bit from the behind the scenes book, and possibly a bit from the mod-makers guide (console commands maybe?)

i did that 'cos no booksellers in australia have even heard of the "raising the bar" book.
on my order status page amazon says they expect to get it by Oct 12...

I wonder if you will get the book on that date...
Its quite odd cause the stratgy guide has been 'available' to ship for the last year, though to my best knowledge it has not been fully completed until recently.
If someone had ordered the book then I would of expected the internet to be flooded with the story by now.

Yeah I saw that but there are so many more interseting stuff in the Gold package which makes the CE kinda obsolete. I'll get the BTS-book from a store instead I believe.
