I just bought the board today with an Athlon64 3500+ Unforuntely I don't have the money to finish buying all the other components right now so I can't test it :( The thing that worries me is I've seen mixed reviews on Newegg most good, but most website reviews love the mobo. Im just curious of peoples experience with ASUS mobos here. I'm going crazy worring :rolling:

The chipset fan starts to go bad after 2 or 3 months, it happened on the one that was in the comp. i built for my brother.

I've had mine for a good few months now. The onboard sound has died on my mobo. I dunno what caused it.
But apart from that its one sweet mobo.

Thanks for the replys, gives me a sigh of relief :smoking: Da-Muffin-Man about the fan issue I've heard that asus is pretty much just giving them away now.

well there's 4 asus sli boards

a8n-sli
a8n-sli deluxe
a8n-sli premium
a32n-sli

I just installed the a8n-sli ..no problems so far, just make sure you have an adequate PSU with a 24 pin connector ..I had problems running it with a 20 pin connector

I bought the Premium version of this motherboard, so I don't have that fan problem. Overall, it's been great so far.

Got the A8N-SLi non deluxe/premium version and its great so far, been using it for about touch wood.

I have one. My fan died a couple of weeks ago. Asus sent me a new one right a way, but it was a bitch replacing it. Got it working again tho.
