question about ati newegg

there is a exact card ati every spec is exact same only diffrence one looks more like a 9800 pro and other looks diffrent this is the $138 graphics card picture

and here is the $163 graphics card pic and all have same exact spec just one costs more and looks diffrent buy looeking at it which one should i buy?

but which ones should i get if i get the more expensive one do i need to upgrade power supplie?

Hmm... Looks to me just by lookin' at those vid cards that the ati has better heat syncness... Might wanna get a power supply around 400 watt at least... Just so it's not stressing itself...

No a 9600xt will run perfectly on a 300w psu. You're fine, even a 9800 pro could run on it. As for which one to get, the red one is more expensive because it's first party-made by ATi. But there's no reason to pay more for the ATi card, Sapphire makes great cards and there's no difference in performance in the cards, and the cooling looks to be the same too. Get the Sapphire, it's cheaper, it's a good card, and it's black, which looks cool.

compaq presario 6000 series bought it in year 2002 have had no problems but prefer sony vaio lol. so do you think i have 300 watts

I'm not sure, maybe not 300 watts, but whatever you have if will definitely be able to run a 9600xt easily, they don't require so much power so have fun.

ok thanks cool so shoudl i just go buy it and not worry about power supply only thing so far i added other then ram was a sony dvd Writer.

If you're talking about the 9600xt, yeah go buy it you shouldn't have anything to worry about with the power supply. And hey it always says page cannot be displayed when I try to click on your CS: S movies link.

Yes i know server i run sometimes ill run it and only let you access it otherwise it will eat all my internet connection so ill pm you with my new password adn stuff and dont give it out so then you can downlaod what you want since you have been sooooo helpful.
