Now, when I put on this Mupirocin shit, am I supposed to scrape off all the dried/scabbed up puss before I put it on, or can I just put it on right ontop of the dried puss shit?

I don't know what your condition is, but I am guessing you are not supposed to scrap off anything, put the cream or whatever on top, and then let it flake away over time by itself.

Otherwise you might cause an infection/cause it to spread if you scrape it.

K, i'll stop scraping.

It basically started as a fair sized abrasion on my right elbow all the way down my tricep and a little onto my chest + a small scrape on my left knee that I got when I landed funny on a jump at the local bike park. Bars were sideways when I hit the ground, so I shot right off the front of the bike and onto and across the dirt. My mom sent me to the doctor after an attempt at playing hookey went awry, at which point the docs noticed the shit on my elbow and prescribed some mupirocin, which I haven't been using :/

That lasted for about a day till I ****ed up a manual down a sidewalk and didn't catch myself, ending with me catching myself with my left elbow and the same knee that was ****ed to begin with.

Then last night the corner of my handlebar stem went right into the SAME knee while I was hitting a 180.

Today at work I noticed things were getting a little green, and by the time I got home, I was a big pussy mess, so now i'm putting the mupirocin on :P

i think i dry heaved...well done

Make sure you wash out that infection with warm water, maybe even put some Hydrogen peroxide to bubble it out a bit, wash it out gently again with warm water, pat it dry, and then put on your oitment. Unless the doctor said otherwise, you should probably not cover it, because covering it will prevent it from getting aired out and breath, if it cannot breath, this is sometimes bad because more bacteria will cultivate.

Also, stop doing so many ****ing tricks that are getting yourself hurt.

Amputation is the only solution. We're doing it Civil War style. "But, massa, I don't know nothin' bout birthin' no amputees!"

Don't scrape just spray or whatever. Scabs are your body's defence against germykins.

Wait, so, should I clean out the scrapes with hibiclense before I put that shit on? Or just leave them alone?

Also, i'm going riding today. Good idea to cover them, or don't bother?

If you're going back out it would be a fantastic idea to cover up. Not the best of ideas to go back out, but if you're going to do it might as well be safe. And do what the turtle said.

When I say cover, I mean like, bandages and wraps.

Kinda iffy on it because I don't like the idea of them being wet for an extended period of time.

I know what you mean and if you do go out with bandages and wraps I suggest that you bring spares so you can change them out.

This story ends with limbs being severed.

Cover them.

Clean them out by all means just don't pick at them. Bad idea, that's how infections are started.

****s sake lefty.

Nobody cares about your penis.

Well, I fell...

Again...

Left elbow and right knee to the brunt of the fall. Worst part was that I fell right on the old scrape on my left elbow.

There's a nice sized greenish red skid mark on the pavement :P

Sink, I think it's time to hang up the bike for a while.

YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got 3 days off of work this week, I refuse to spend them sitting around, not on a bike.

What you could do is sit on your bike on hl2.net. With the kickstand out.

How about a wheel chair? Those are fun, I once saw a homeless man doing tricks in a wheel chair... with his legs.

how 'bout a nice safe skateboard.

I used to skate. My thin as a board left leg makes it really hard to do flip tricks because my ankle has barely any movement in it.

And I like 2 wheels. A lot. I may not be very good at biking, hell, I can barely 180, but i'll be damned if it isn't a hell of a time for me.

All of you guys are morons. The best thing to rub into a scab is fat heavy oils, maybe like olive oil or maybe if you get the grease from after you've cooked meat. It gives your blood the nutrients to heal.

Wait...

Is this a lie?

Because I seriously will try this if it is not...

I'm telling you, someone's getting something amputated soon.
