I write very strangly. It's not that it's illegable, it's that I hold a pen wierd. I suppose when they where teaching us how to write I wasn't paying attention. I know you can tell alot from someone by their handwriting and signature (another note, I don't really have a signature, I usualy just handwrite anything I'm supposed to sign) but I was wondering, could the way I hold my pen affect someone trying to anylise my handwriting?

Definitely. If I don't want someone recognizing my handwriting, I just use my left hand. I suppose if it were a criminal investigation though, they might notice something less drastic like a subtle change in pen placement in hand, for instance...

Why? Have you got something planned? PM me if you need any help...:afro:

:p
No, just curious. So I'm unanylizable! Haha.

I held the pen wrong for awhile too, it was one of a lot of weird coordination issues I had that I ended up having to get therapy for one summer.

*Shrug* I don't really notice much of a difference in my handwriting now and then, the only reason I think it really improved was because I was only in fourth grade when teachers started noticing.

I think the whole handwriting anylisis stuff is bullshit. I've read a book on it, sounded like crap.

My handwriting's pretty crap. In a twist of strangeness, I write better if I'm writing in different language character sets.

My a's look like a nine with a short stem. and I start from the bottom.

MY handwriting is near-illegible. I resorted to writing in upper case while taking notes at college, but I wrote so quickly that that too became illegible.
I've always found the physical act of writing tedious and a bore. Thank <insert deity> for touch-typing.

If i use a fountain pen i can write really neat (according to teachers in 6th form).

Put a ball-point pen in my hands and it all goes wrong. Unless i write in block capitals it looks like my 5 year old nephew wrote it.

My handwriting is illegible. I'm not even joking- I'm the only person that can read it. People say it looks like arabic. The funny thing is, I've been told it looks "pretty"- they dunno what the f*ck it says, but it looks nice :p

Yes pi, thank lePobz for touch typing.

My handwriting is legible if I write semi-slowly - but if I write fast, only I can read it (and sometimes I can't). I hold a pen oddly too, which others tell me (when they see me writing). I guess I just never paid attention in 'how to hold a pen' class.

My writing sucks big time. If I use a pencil people can hardly read it, it needs to be pen for it to be somewhat legible. Teachers ask me to use pen all the time.

I never handwrite. Print, clear and simple.

My handwriting's not all that bad. I don't hold pens or pencils the "correct" way, but I don't see how it matters at all.

My handwriting sucks. Very few people can read it fluently. As for my signature, I just print it and it looks like the way other people sign, using cursive D:

I've been using the computer so long and neglecting writing... I forgot how to do cursive. And my regular writing is very terrible.

I hold my pens & pencils wrong. I used to try to hold it "correctly' when people said something, but I really don't care anymore. I have this strange rough patch of skin on my finger from the way I hold my pencil. I don't think my handwriting is that bad, but everyone else has trouble reading it. Sometimes I'll use print, sometimes cursive, mostly a combination of the two. I have a really easy time reading other people's bad handwriting though.

My handwriting sucks too, but I'm a pretty good typist. I think there's some correlation between those two facts.

Am I the only one that can write properly?

My handwriting varies like crazy. It can be totally neat to near-illegible. It all depends on the amount of concentration I'm applying.
