if i purchase css and hl2 over steam, will i get a retail box when hl2 is released? or just download and play on steam? please reply before 11:00 am thanx guys!!

You are most likely not John Romero. and why are you saying that Doom 3 is better then half life 2? John Romero had nothing to do with D3. He's been off working on his crazy monkeystone whatever games. And why would you come into a hl2 forum and start badmouthing the game that we're all obsessed with. Not a way to make friends.
Just the software, no box, no cd's. However, if you buy off steam, from what I have been led to understand, Vivendi Universal does not recieve profits from your purchase. If you want to support VUG, that's your call, but personally, my money is going straight into the coffers of Valve.
