Been needing an AGP card for under $100 and this one doesn't seem to shabby. Problem is that there aren't any reviews or concrete information on the card as far as performance goes.

The thing with the card is that it only has 4 pipelines.

Sapphire X1550 256MB

I can get a Chaintech 7300 GT for $99 and it has 8 pipelines, but the core clock is at 350mhz, while the Sapphire's is 550mhz. I'll probably stick with the Sapphire for the fact that I'm an ATi fan and Sapphire has been good to me in the past.

I was going to suggest the 9600XT, but it only has 4 pipelines :( The 9600XT did me well through every game I ever played before I got my x800GTO. It played HL2 on medium/high.

So its essentially a rebaged x1300...

I can pick up a 9600 XT for half the price of the x1550... Sort of makes me wonder why the pricing is so different on such a similar product.

They've got a Sapphire X800GTO in the open box section. Looks pretty enticing for under $100...

the x1550 would be better because it is has much newer technology on it. the x800gto is a good choice but with open box, i don't believe you get a warranty at all.
