Hey, my mum got me a psp giga pack for my xmas and I just wanna find out if I'm going to need to buy a card reader to transfer music and movies from my pc to teh psp's 1GB memory card, or if I will be able to use teh included usb cable. I have tried to find this out on the net, but havent been sucessful. Any comments would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Why don't you just try it? Seems pretty silly to ask someone to do something such as that. It'd be like asking can I eat this brownie, or will it walk away?

Err, that does't make sence and I can't even relate that to what I'm asking..

Anyway, but its all wrapped up now..

You can use the included USB cable. You don't need any other hardware/software.

OK Cool thanks for the answer! Much appreciated. Another quick question, does it appear in my computer as another drive like e.g. an ipod does?

It will appear as a removable drive/storage i guess. Then just copy/paste what you want onto the PSP and enjoy :)

Cool! Can't wait to use it, I did open it up to charge the battery so it was ready to use on xmas day but I got my mum to wrap it up so I wouldn't be tempted to open it up again! I'm like a big kid!

plug the USB cable to PSP/PC, then go into "USB MODE", then create a "MUSIC" or "VIDEO" folder and copy your stuff into there.

If you format the memory stick with the PSP those folders get created automatically. But for videos, its a tad more compliacated (its not just drag and drop like the pictures or mp3s), so its best to get a program that does it all for you like PSPvideo9 or something.

OK Cool thanks for the advice, i downloaded that pspvideo9 to see how the videos turn out when you convert them, look pretty!

Thanks again!
