Where can I find a free program that lets me go through the movies on my computer frame by frame? If there is something already on my computer that lets me do that what is it?

VirtualDub is my program of choice. Good for (minor) video editing, frame extraction, scene ripping, sound ripping, compressing, etc. It's free, too. :)

windows media player... Open your movie, click on the little grey icon at the bottom left of the screen "Select now playing options", choose "Media link for e-mail", click on the little arrows to go to the "prev", "next" frame. I think it's the easiest way without having to download another prog.

Yea but you can't Alt + Printscreen a movie, all you get is a big empty black box where the frame should be, probably something to do with copy protection.

No, it's to do with the fact that Printscreen can't capture an overlay image.

That's why you uncheck "Use Overlays" in the WMP options.. tada, printscreen works again

Or you can try turning hardware accelleration off in WMP, or any other player that does overlay. And if that isn't avaiable in the player, open up dxdiag and disable DirectDraw accelleration.
