I'm reading 54 members online and 504 guests??

504? Is that right?

lots of users use invisible mode, so appear as guests IIRC, along with anyone who views the forum without logging in, so yeah 504 is about normal really.

righto, thanks.

all you guests, start posting! There's too many spectators here, get invovled!

hehe, earlier i saw Community Game Support with 300 people viewing.

504 active members would be overwhelming!

it would be better..

only if they don't actually create new threads.

Do you, sir, have a point?

are you calling me n00b, n00b?

Very interesting to see that people with more than 6k posts can be n00bs...

edit: [SARCASM]i'm not actually serious, depending on what you meant[/SARCASM]

now i am confused.

isn't n00b < newb?

if n00b = not bad,

newb = bad,

n00b > newb

which would make the 2ax^3 * 5b^7y^8

/me brain explodes

when do you not become a n00b?

Hell I don't know. :laugh:

Just be on the site for a while I guess. /me shrugs

n00b = Newb
Newb = n00b

I think it makes sense to you now

which would make the 2ax^3 * 5b^7y^8

I don't think you can multiply a number by something to the power of a number multiplied by an algebratic symbol.

I don't think you can times a number by something to the power of a number multiplied by an algebratic symbol.

but someone said that n00b < newb....

and i meant (2ax^3) * (5b^7) * (y^8)
better?

I think you can.

Anyway, my flatmate uses the word n00b all the time in real life. He calls people a n00b when everyone else would use the term "idiot".

Anyway, a while ago he was posting on this forum about an online game. Someone else had asked a question and my flatmate had answered it. The guy went "Oh well, I'm a n00b, but then again we're all n00bs, really."

He came through to my room to complain:

Him: "He called everyone a n00b!".
Me: "Yeah? So?"
Him"That's bad"
Me"You do know what it means don't you?"
Him:"Erm, no"

He used the word n00b but he didn't know it came from "Newbie". He thought it was just a general term for an idiot.
