Quiffy Rofflebags! :D (whatever that means)

The following quotes were quoted for the reason of emphasis :O

A lot of sayings people have on the internet annoy me...or at least, I see them as pointless.

Such as IMO - In my opinion. Well if course its your opinion, you're not quoting anyone and you're certainly not spouting out facts.

Quoted for emphasis.

:D soon we will drive him insssssssssssaneeee :bounce:

soon we will drive him insssssssssssaneeee

Quoted for....no, I just can't go through with it.

If you kept on quoting a "quoted for emphasis" thread would you eventually descend into a horrible quote-time paradox? Quotes within quotes within quotes within OH NOOOOOOOOOOO

Quoting for emphasis.

I forsee a lock in the future of this spam thread.

I defy you all! See how I resist! I do not quote! Ha!

To be honest, the Quiffing wasn't really annoying me that much.

I agree with him.
Quoting for emphasis is used way too much in flame wars and basically enouraged members to gang up on other members, which isnt a good thing.
People use quoting for emphasis instead of actually thinking of something intelligent to say, it does not add
1.A continuation to the discussion
3.Anouther viewpoint/perpective/idea
4.Anything that will make the descusion better in general
It does add-
1.To continuing the flame war by stirring up evything
2.Make the person whos opinion being flamed more angry
3.And therefore making the discussion into more of an argument

So i conclude- quoting for emphasis makes NOTHING any more intresting and EVERYTHING more angry and flame-warey and im gonna flame the next person who uses it

I see you consider a thread which is adressing an issue which is making hl2.net a much less fun place to be is spam.

Quoted for emphasis (I'm such a damn sheep).

Actually, those threads ARE horrible. phpBB quotes the entire content of the former message, including any quotes they may have had, so back on my friend's old boards we had a thread that degenerated into posts with more than 15 quotes within quotes.

This board doesn't include quotes in a quote unless you put them there.

No, this thread is filled with spam and quiffies.

Look at the the rest of the thread......

I agree with your points entirely. At first I was just sick of staring at people repeating the phrase, but I realize it is also a nuisance.

quoted er.. erm.. due to important and practical rhetorical circumstances involving interesting collossal words used with minimal regard to sentence structure or meaning?!

Why you acrimonious, mephitic, incommodious slime! What a elephantine waste of a topic.

wow why do you care about this? Get a hobby :p. Its an alternative to saying "yes I agree" or whatever.
