Racist flash game targets immigrants

I focused on the redneck comment because it's trying to be a jab at the makers of this game, while subtly stating your position on it. Instead it comes out more like, "hurr hurr, rednecks!"

Once again, let me state that this is the internet. Every demographic that exists is stereotyped and made fun of, and sometimes demographics are made up to be made fun of. Does this mean that the makers of this game are really racist? Maybe. Are they making a serious statement here, or are they just poking a little fun? Who knows. In any case, it's not like it makes a difference what some flash game, in some corner of the internet, that doesn't even LOAD, says about shooting some immigrants. People really need to learn to let some things slide. No one's building the wall here.

Saying a game that shoots immigrants is tailor-made for me is laughably funny, considering that some of my immediate family members are immigrants. I've probably dealt with more immigrants and immigrant issues than you'll ever care to (ah, but I'm assuming, aren't I?). And even though I am not a Mexican, if I WERE, I wouldn't be giving two shits what an internet game calls me and the fact that they're shooting some people who've been in a situation similar to mine, or at least a situation that my people identify with. Because again, it's the internet. Racists on the internet generally aren't even racists, unless you're talking about Resistnow.com, but at the end of the day who cares what the Grand Wizard says?

And I stand by what I said about that Propaghandi nonsense. Pity party songs designed to make people feel bad about their society and their attitudes, well, sorry, that's too bad. That is the way the world works, folks, I'm sorry to tell you. People create messes and then don't want to clean them up, or they complain about the methods of cleaning them up. Welcome to the human race.
 
This flash video is no diffrent from a show like South Park.... so what is the big deal about all of this?

Although you are correct in that it's no big deal, a flash movie is far different than a professional show aired on national TV because well, anybody with a computer and internet access can make a flash move/game about anything they want so it's insignifigant in that respect.

Great point, and South Park was nominated for - or won at least 12 awards, including winning an Emmy award! In this show, they say whatever they want. In case you live in a cave, the show consists of cartoon animated group of children that are friends. One example of the racism in this wildly popular show is that one of the children is always calling the other friend of his a ****ing Jew, while that kid always calls the other kid a ****ing fat-ass. I love this show! And my father is Jewish by the way. The first few times I saw it, I admit I was a little concerned, but eventually it became one of my favorite shows ever, right along with The Simpsons.

And shows like Mind of Mencia step all over political correctness, stomping all over it and making fun of EVERY race, for 30 minutes, every day. Thats what the entire show is about. It's funny, in my humble opinion.

I think shows like this are a key to lightening racial tension. I think it's good for the world. Your opinion may vary.

I can also access billions of images of every kind of porn you could imagine, and kinds that I could never have imagined, on the internet. I've actually seen flash games featuring porn! Kind of fun, but hard to play with one hand. But a racist flash game shouldn't be allowed to be on the internet? If you take away a persons right to make a game like that and put it on the internet, then you are one step towards losing some of your freedoms.

Hell, I don't even think it's illegal to be a Klu Klux Klan or Black Panther member - and people from these groups have committed hate crimes and murders.

The bottom line is, if you don't like what you see, change the channel, or close the link. Playing a video game where you shoot immigrants is really no different than playing a game where you shoot terrorists, shoot police, or shoot anyone for that matter.

I didn't say that... Try reading again, I simply said that neither a TV show or flash game should be taken seriously, ALTHOUGH a TV show is far different than a flash game in that a show is produced by a team of paid professionals and must be OK'd by the station or whatever, where as a flash game can be literally anything and made by basically anyone regardless of age or maturity or artistic skill.

OK, sorry. So even more-so, a racist, internet flash game should be OK, since it does not need to be OK'd by anyone. Agreed.

The only things that are taboo on the internet are things that are illegal, and racism is not illegal, it's just generally frowned-upon by most people - including me.
 
Variations on this flash theme have been about for ages. This is more a case of current affairs coinciding with existing work than a racist responding to the news. It's a non-issue, this flash doesn't mean anything.
 
You know what some of the poor do in Mexico? They go to garbage dumps with baskets and search for something to sell all day. Imagine having to do that everyday...
