Hey guyes, can someone explain if the x600 or x300 are good for gaming? Is the x300 or x600 better then 9800 pro? I have like no clue, and when are those cards getting released? Prices? O_O

No actually I didn't, my dad could charge over $5,000 on his credit card and they would all go through....So your thinking is obviously wrong. Being immature? Nah telling the truth.

The 9800Pro would be better than both the X600 and X300.
The 9600XT is not as quick as the X600 though.
The X300 is the value PCI-Express DX9 card. No fan required.

Then add in the fact that you can only use Intel's new platform with Prescott for now with those PCI-Express cards and you won't get as good of gameplay out of them as with the AGP cards.

ok thx for clearing that up. I thought that the newer generation cards would also be better.. hehe.

Here is a german review translated with babelfish.
Quake 3 is system bottlenecked @ 1280x1024 btw.

Use the pull-down menus to select the game, res, and AA/AF then hit Go.

By the time PCI-E comes into itself, we will have faster GPUs/CPUs. In my opinion there is no point in getting a PCI-E mobo/card right now.

Just because your dad can doesn't mean everyone else can. Cards do have credit limits.

apperently you don't if you think you don't run out of "credit"
