Ragdoll clipping?

Whenever I shoot somebody, they seem to simply clip through other objects such as boxes. If I shoot a combine, he'll simply fall through a pile of boxes without any of the boxes being affected. Is this normal? I've tried cl_ragdoll_collide 1 and it didn't solve the problem. Is there another console command I can use to solve the problem?
 
Never happens to me... maybe you "broke" it by fooling around with the console.
 
No. It's the same with everybody. This clipping should have been cured before the turn of the century but it still exists in some 'so called next gen' engines. I can't recall seeing any in Far Cry though.
 
It is not just simple clipping errors I'm talking about, rather there is no ragdoll interaction with other physics items. In Max Payne 2, if I shot somebody and they fell into some boxes, the boxes would move and react accordingly, but this is not the case in HL2. That leads me to believe it is a problem with the game.
 
They don't interact with everything, but they do interact with larger things like boxes and barrels so I don't know what your problem could be.
