What Are The Postage Options?
We offer free 2nd Class delivery on all UK orders. If you'd prefer to get your order much faster UK customers can select 1st Class postage for just 99p per order!

Next day delivery
Why wait? Next day delivery on games or small items costs only £4.99 per order. Please order before 5.00pm to ensure immediate dispatch on games or small items - for consoles see below. Console delivery
We ship Playstation 2, Xbox and GameCube consoles on either FREE 48 hour delivery or our Next Day service at just £2.50. This service is Monday to Friday and will usually arrive between 8am and 6pm the next working day. Please order before 4.30pm to ensure immediate despatch on these consoles. (UK only)

Please allow an extra 1-2 days for Highlands & Islands shipping.

European delivery
We ship to Europe at just £2.95 per order. We also offer a priority European signed for service at just £6.50.

Rest of the World delivery
We ship to the rest of the world at just £4.95 per order. We also offer a priority international signed for service at just £8.50.

Amazon had it for $20. I'd consider a book like this to be a steal at that price. Hardcover? Image Intensive? Limited? Sounds like it should be much more.
 
so are there 2 versions of the book or not? i keep on seeing it listed as paperback. where is this elusive hardcover version?

At least for now, there is only one version of the book: hardcover. The "softcover" information from Amazon is not accurate and is out of date.

I guess that I should stay clear of the book untill I have played and completed Half Life 2? I don't want the book to spoil anything for me.

Shall buy it eventualy tho :)
 
Ah, thanks, Cliffe. I'll be watching for it very soon. I dont' want to spoil then game, but it will be very hard not to read the book once I buy it...

There are so many good games and stuff coming out in November alone that it's making my head spin. I guess I'll have to get them one at a time, starting with HL2.

Damn it. Should have ordered when the price was low. Any stores carry the book for a more suitable price? I have never shopped for books online so if anyone could point out some good stores to check out I would be grateful.
 
Ouch, 45 euros total from Bookfellas. We´ll see.

I don´t suppose this book will be available in any bookstores near me? Cliffe? Anyone?
 
I thought £15.99 was reasonable, but I am in the UK, so delivery is free.
 
I was going to reply saying that the store should be able to provide some cheaper means of delivery, but started thinking about my quoted price. Silly me had accidentally 'basketed' the book twice :) The final price is22 pounds, which isn´t that bad, though I wish the shipping would be a bit cheaper. Is standard airmail really 6 pounds?
