Ram mixing question

I have one 512 stick of DDR433 CL2 (Kingston HyperX), one 512 stick of PC2700 cl2.5 and one 256 stick of pc2700 c 2.5. Is it okay to mix the two 512 sticks, or all three? Would anyone here reccomend it or discourage it?

hmmm should work but you'r ddr433 will run ddr333
because pc2700 = ddr333

dunno if can aford another ddr433 cl2 kinstong hyperx
or another brand ddr433

If the current memory in your system is the DDR433 512MB CL2 Kingston, then I would not recommend mixxing memory as it will run much slower.

If you really want 1GB of memory and do not want to buy another stick then use the PC2700 512MB CL2.5 stick. Do not add more than that.

Otherwise try to find a matching stick.

Even though the ddr433 will run slower, does that mean that 1 gig of 2700 will run slower, or faster than 512 of ddr433? I can't afford another stick right now, I'm saving all I can for a 6800 gt.

Games may load a little quicker and it would run more stable in more demanding games but at the cost of framerate.
It would be a tradeoff.
