Surlov was even mentioned in some sources as having over 700. Post war analysis has shown that these figures were inflated for propaganda purposes. It is doubtful that K?nig even existed at all and Surkov is a shadowy figure at best. The top scoring Soviet ace that is accepted is Ivan Mihailovich Sidorenko of the 1122nd rifle regiment with 500 confirmed kills.

i was reading this very article last night, i loved 'The White Death' bit or whatever he was called. 700+ kills in -40 conditions. epic.

the other guys pretty awesome as well, a special mention to the dude who was carrying around bagpipes and a claymore :)
 
I will build a time machine and defeat everyone of those soldiers in their own field. Sniper, Swords, Hand to hand combat. Then I will be the ultimate warrior.

...for about a week. In spite of having come down with a nasty case of shot-in-the-face syndrome, he was still very much alive, and regained consciousness on March 13, the very day the war ended.

I'm pretty sure the war stopped because he regained consciousness.

Ye but only for a short period of time and the finnish dudes didn't actually fight together with the Nazis.
 
But nor did they fight with the allies. Don't get me wrong, I like Finland, but Dog-- has a skewed perception of history.

Seriously. Either the Soviet Union's army was made entirely of girl scouts or Finland was frigging God.

Of course, Finland lost that war, when Spring decided to come and the Soviets were no longer hindered by bad weather, attrition losses, and a general lack of sense.

The Soviets probably had tanks without shells and like every 5th soldier had ammo for their rifle (if they had a rifle). :P

Oh wait, you're Korean. You see - Finns were like the Protoss and Soviets were like the Zerg.
 
The Soviets prepared for the war by executing all their decent officers.
