John Rambo.

Good movie.. Very Violent, some parts were very realistic. I had a hard time setting still... All in all 9/10 stars.

Another lament-something-from-the-70's thing imho.

The trailer is awesome, I'll be sure to check it out when it comes out over here.

I have to admit ... this was a damn good action movie. Thoroughly enjoyable and filled with lots of great action/violence. They even put in a bit of a social message ... nothing profound but more credible and less cheesy than you'd expect. The best "guy" movie I've seen in awhile, and sorely needed after the pussified mess that was Die Hard 4.

Have you watched it?

i think it was you who came back from iraq right? i was just wondering..have you seen it and if yes did it bring back crazy memories so bad that you had to leave the theater? a serious question and if you dont feel like answering i understand.

anyways, i thought it was the most bad ass movie ive seen since 300.

I watched the full movie. Loud noises bring back memories. You have to force yourself to not react, to loosen up. As far as the movie it self. Some things like the reports of gunfire from a distance. As far as the gore. Some of it was very realistic and the rest over the top.

Actually, the movie's name is "Rambo".

It looks like the critics don't like it, but the public does.

the public? a ringing endorsement if I ever heard one

no desire to see it but if I had a free ticket I'd go ..throw in some popcorn and I wont criticise it during the show

You're so easily bought Stern :P

I'll go see it if a friend asks me to go, otherwise ill just wait for the internets to post it.

I'll hold out for another quarter thank you very much ..but I'll keep you in mind if there's no more bidders

come on guys, we can hit $5 /shows a little leg

I don't think anyone who goes to see this movie will dislike it. It's a Rambo movie ... and all that that entails. It's probably the best Rambo movie, it's a damn good action movie ... and that's it. Honestly I can't imagine anyone being unsatisfied after choosing to see it. Anyone who goes to see Rambo and then complains about it's lack of complexity or depth is a ****ing idiot.

It doesn't deserve the stupid high IMDB rating, but it's the best pure action movie that's been released in years. I'd even go so far as to call it an overall good movie, much more fun that the average summer blockbuster that's not nearly as entertaining and doesn't even have as much substance.

Missed it last weekend (too busy) but I'll try again this weekend. Very excited to see it!

What will you do for 5 winks?

;) ;) ;) ;) ;) :stare:

Milk cows, not ideas. John Rambo's adventures stopped with the end credits of First Blood.

After being released from the stockade he worked briefly as a gas station attendant just outside Jerkwater, USA, before the A-Team employed him as a gopher until he ran away to pursue a failing boxing career, which he retired from last year.
