I was hoping Couture would fight Fedor so bad. The Russian vs the American. I could understand his retirement after that, but I guess with Fedor signing with another fight league it's really not possible.

He'll wait for his contract to expire (which is sometime next year) in the UFC, then he'll sign up to that same org. that Fedor went to.

With what Couture has ment for the UFC, interms of pay per view buys and sheer personality for the sport of mma, i would have thought he would have got so much more than everyone else, including Chuck Liddel. I can only hope that Randy has a talk with Fedor's manager and the M-1 manage about fighting Fedor as that pay per view would be off the hook .
