There someone rapping really loudly outside my window. And the music that is playing through someone's window is like some sort of softcore rock. And in addition there is somebody skateboarding and grinding on stuff.

Its really ****ing annoying. Please halp.

Call the cops..

Simple. It's called disturbing the peace, you have every right to call the cops especially if it is at night for something like this.

Oh, and if you can, get it on video. Or take pictures.

Cops wont come. They are too busy arresting drug dealers, reporting to car accidents or stuff like that. I had to call once before on a Saturday and they actually said that nobody was available at the moment.

I bet if I go for a drive right now I will see at least 3 different cops arresting people. Its nuts.

And I dont have anying to pops caps with. The best I got is a 3 inch knife... and I bet he has a glock or something... being a rapper and all.

Be resourceful. Make a makeshift gun ffs. A knife shooting gun. Yeah.......That'll teach the ****er.

Yeah obviously asking them to take it somewhere else or keep it down is completely out of the question. Your first resort should be calling authorities to ruin someone's day who might not even know they're bothering you.

If you haven't even tried any of the above yet and you made this thread that's pretty retarded man.

Uhh, I don't know about where you live RakuraiTenjin, but here in my town that's exactly how it is.

Also, if they refuse to leave, one of two things will happen:

1) They may get violent (less likely)
2) You will then call the cops to remove them by force, and then they'll know you were the one who called, and come back to do god knows what

There's also the possibility that they will do nothing, but why bother risking it.

Sounds like a scary place you live in Krynn.

Ask him to rap for you.

If he doesn't want to, give him a ticket.

If I had the equipment I'd go out there and lay down some ****ing beats for 'em.

Well whatever. I can't fathom living in fear like that and depending so much on others, no offense. It's better to handle them yourself- which doesnt even mean anything bad, it just means making a request.

I've always called the police if there were annoying singing outside.

Examples:
Some people came to the road with loudspeaker trucks, whining about something or other, and so I called the police, who sent a few patrol cars to disband the people.

Political advertising was getting on my nerves, because my exams coincided with election season, so I called the police, who took care of it.

I swear to God, rappers are one thing...But if I have Christmas carolers outside....I'm busting out the ****ing AK.

Around here, calling the cops on someone gets you jumped/harassed/shot/lame/all of the above.

Plus, most people i know don't mind it because they will probably jump in and start flowing too. MC's these days...

Choreograph a really awesome dance routine, walk outside with your leet audio equipment and lay down the beats (and the moves) on em.

Proceed to insult him with "You got served!", "Bitch ain't got nothin' on mah hood" etc.

Indeed.....

Hey....Psst...Hungrydick.......Zephos.........Gabbleh Gabbles...Bacon meeting...NOW!

Edit: Get Darkwolf. Someone tell him to get his ass on. We must have bacon meeting. IMPORTANT plans!

One word... Q-tip.

I'm sure you can figure out how to utilize it.

Also... I wonder if the rappers are being forced by cops to rap.

Get your biggest baddest set of speakers and Hi-Fi set.

Put on some In Flames.

Turn it up to max

Heh, when you said someone rapping outside your window I thought the other kind of rapping (knocking quickly), I thought it was going to a strange like The Raven tale.

I'm going to agree with Rakuri here.. calling the police is a massive overreaction
Student accomadation is going to be a massive shock to your system.

Start a Rap battle, come to halflife2.net for lyrical help.

I can lend you my air pistol, loaded with steel bullets if you wish. I shot my friend in the shin once, and it ended up stuck in his skin :cheese:

Or borrow my taser, but that story is for another day...

Evo stole my idea. Don't forget to play crappiest music you can think of. I bet they would love Johnny Cash or some Mexican band.

Are you insinuating that In Flames are crap dear Henry?

I tell you again, not in my neighborhood. If you're being loud, especially out in the street and not even in your own home, you have every right to call the cops. Hell, I've seen it done on this one party a house was having, which I agree was really uncalled for, the sad thing is that it actually worked, but that's not my point. In my neighborhood that's the way it is, but apparantly in his he's gotta take matters into his own hands. Or buy earplugs.

I agree with everyone say play your own music. They are right outside your window so setup a couple of speakers and turn the volume up. They will (hopefully) move some place else when they can't hear their own music.

Haha, wow, some streets I've walked down just echo Rap all the way down them, people just play it as loud as possible and sit outside their houses.

Sorry it took so long to reply... my hard drive died and I had to format it and reinstall everything. Horray for loosing 250 gigs of data!

Anyways... I dont talk to anybody around here unless I know them. This is Orlando we are talking about here. Officially the angriest city in all of the USA. Ive been here 6 months and I fear for my life everytime I go outside at night. My friend has been mugged at gun point twice already, I hear gunshots outside once in awhile... and the month that I moved down here... someone was killed by an AK47 AT MY APARTMENT COMPLEX!

I would have called the cops... but as you might tell, they probably wouldnt care much about "disturbing the peace" calls as much as any of the other things I have mentioned.

I ended up just putting my headset on and listening to music... then fell asleep. The craziest thing is that when I woke up... and up to a little while ago the guy's music was still going. I dont know if he was recording, or if he just left his place without turning it off.

No, you don't HAVE to where I live, I'm saying it's really ****ed up to just call the cops on somebody right away before you even ask them to take it anywhere else.

It's COMMON COURTESY to ask someone to take it somewhere else. Not just be like "****! These people are loud. That's it, I'm calling the police immediately!"

Sure, you have the RIGHT to do so. That doesn't mean you're morally justafied in doing so. It's called people skills and being a part of your neighborhood. People who don't do that age to be hermits.

If you're a student you have to live with loud music and stuff like that all the time. But if you're a student... you don't mind since you're at the same party drinking your face off.
