Rar :>

You'd really choose a job that makes the most money, as opposed to something you'd simply enjoy?

(I'm fortunate enough to get the best of both worlds. I adore working on my art, and my current path is set to make me...rather a lot of money :))

well you must have some level of job satisfaction but it all bolis down to money and job security ..just be aware that as an artist your jobs are very limited (I know as that's my career) ...just make yourself as emploable as possible ...learn everything there's to know about printing (I'm assuming that's what you meant by a career in art)

the money thing is so that you dont have to struggle later in life ...there's nothing worse than working at a job you love only to discover that it's not financially viable as a lifetime career ...that's why I left the teaching profession

btw dont expect to have one career ..instead by prepared for multiple careers. Many of my university friends are not in the field they studied in

Primary school (5-11)
Secondary school (11-16), GCSEs
Sixth form/College (16-18), AS/A-Levels
University, Degree

That's the usual order

Grrr, that's not how I did it.

First School (4-9)
Middle School (9-13)
High School (10-18) GCSEs and AS/A-Levels.
Univeristy (18+) Degree.

Just finished my last exam of Uni today, had 6 pints and now I'm in limbo;(, think I'm going out for more soon:cheers:.

I just left school. Forever. Today was my last day of 'education'.

Just thought I'd say: you're all fantastic people , and thanks for making this forum such a joy to moderate.

Sounds like a plan batman! I remember it's always good to work hard and reward yourself afterwards.

*Insert generic dirty comment about beer or women here*

**** that! Push it off until the very last second and hurry up and sloppily do it! Not only do you learn to think under pressure, you get to see just how much perspiration your body cranks out per minute. Fun, fun!

Funny, Badger, i graduated from high school on the same day as you. Unlike some people, though, I'm going to continue to immerse myself in knowledge as I pursue an engineering degree at college. (It's all the college essays, I swear.)
