I'd recommend that you download with a downloader manager, like Getright, otherwise it'll go slow as hell.

Regular d/l worked just fine for me. Faster than normal servers even. My connection tops out at 1MB/sec when I use a d/l manager but this went at 765Kb/sec

EDIT: Damn this game is going to kick ass. Looks like previous R&C games but on a larger scale. Glad to see they brought back the grind boots. I missed those in the last couple games. Gonna HAVE to buy this game whenever I get my hands on somebody's PS3.

Did you use Firefox? I use Opera and it went at like 2 Kb/sec. With Getright it went at about 50-60 Kb/sec.

Looks pretty damn good. I wish they would focus more on games like Resistance though, I had a lot more fun with it than I did the Ratchet games.

I'm really looking forward to the new Naughty Dog game though. There's an excellent chance it'll be the best platformer ever.

Holy crap but that looks awesome!! They sure as hell pulled off some amazing stuff with the PS2's hardware so it is really nice to see that they are doing some extra nice stuff with the PS3 as well. Can't wait for this one--maybe I will actually have a PS3 by the time it releases! :|

Nice. Never played R&C that much, but my friend loves it, and he's looking at a PS3 so he'll be stoked.

One small reservation though - why does it always have to be "the greatest" this and "the biggest" that with trailers? You'd think it could only get so great...

Because being honest sometimes isn't all that appealing...

i.e.

"Brand new FPS from [company]! It doesn't quite revolutionize gaming nor does it add anything significant to the genre! It's not as good as the Half Life series and probably just your average run-of-the-mill game. In fact, it might even be mediocre... It isn't great, nor is it the best, but buy it anyway!"

Oh Hell yes. If it plays like the first two I'll have to buy a PS3. I missed the old gameplay style. Deadlocked was just bad imo.

Do yourself a favor, pick up R&C: Up Your Arsenal. It's the 3rd R&C game and it's fantastic. Hell, all the R&C's are fantastic (Deadlocked was too much shooter not enough adventure/platformer aspect - but I did like all the RPG elements).

Yeah, Up Your Arsenal kicked tremendous amounts of ass. This should end up being all the more awesome since its a new console debut for the franchise. Just wish they would move it to X360 but there's no chance of that is there .
