Did you just play the first couple of levels or something?

I played up to level 15 :/ meh was my impression.

F.E.A.R
9.5/10

Very action packed, in a beautiful graphics style. The fights were just sooo enjoyable :D Also the smartest AI I've seen so far.
I think this is my #1 game now, which used to be Far Cry.

FF3 (DS) - 8/10

This is likely nostalgia speaking, but I thoroughly enjoyed FF3.
I got sick of this one fast... it's just mechanically uninteresting with or without the touch-screen control (which to me just accents the total lack of interactivity in JRPGs)... Also, it's impossible for me to achieve nostalgia for something that was never even released in the west :p

It has Moogles though, lots of them, so I can understand where at least seven of your points come from. Oh, and I have the sweet little FF3 trading figures. The game was, visually at least, rather charming.

Metal Gear Ac!d - 7/10

How did this awful game get so damn addictive

Stronghold 2 - 7/10

If I remember the first game correctly, this isn't too great of a sequel.

Killing Floor - 8/10

Poor voice acting and bugged server browser deducts points. And too few maps.

Team Fortress 2 wtfpwnage awesomeness/10

This game is fulfilling on so many levels. It is a great shooter, all classes can excel when played right, the maps are very well thought out, it is a lot of fun both to look at and to play, the graphics are great and the audio is spot on. Combine it with a team that communicates and you have gaming nirvana. Been playing it for almost two years now and it still doesn't get old. <3 Valve

Space Shuttle Mission 2007
8/10

-Wide range of missions
-Easy for beginners
-Good graphics
-Good soundtrack
Cons
-Overpriced
-Some procedures not correct
Final thoughts
Good game. Try the demo. If you like it, buy the full game.

Awesome, love space sims.

You should check out Orbiter, if you haven't already.
It has a learning curve that only gets worse as you go along though. :p

I already have Orbiter. In fact, I had orbiter before I had SSM07. You know about Space Shuttle Ultra, right?

FALLOUT3 9.5/10

stupid crashes sometimes ruin it.

COD4 9.1/10

mp still greta fun.

Heh, I can't even run that Space Shuttle game you posted at a decent FPS.
I shudder to think of what an Ultra version would be like.

Zeno Clash 8.7/10

Amazing game from such a small team of people. The game felt like playing a Tim Burton movie and it had a nice charm to it. Very unique, somewhat engaging, and leaving room for more. I'd be happy to try Zeno Clash 2 anyday

Fallout 3 - 9/10

Very engrossing, makes you seriously consider decisions presented in the game, because they have a lasting effect, which is awesome.

Quake Wars - 8/10 - Very fun, but a tad too fast. Like BF 2142, but on crack.

Also, Vectyr, can I get your copy of Fallout 3? I'd like to see the choices and consequences you mention, because apparently, mine has them excised.

Saint's Row 2 - 8/10.

This one's hard to rate. It's doesn't look great, is buggy, but in co-op it's the most fun you can have with a game of this type. It's a shame that the engine and visuals aren't on par with GTA4 as the missions, activities, and general structure of the game are leagues ahead.

Infamous (Demo) - 8/10

Its REALLY fun. You feel like a god among men sometimes.

I can just see it getting a bit repetitive. Now I know its only the demo, and you dont have all the powers, but the enemies dont vary much (in the full game apparently), and I can just see myself wanting that little bit more.

However, if the missions are as good in the demo as they are in the full game, its worth it.

Climbing around is..weird at first. Kinda like Assassin's Creed but stirred together with Crackdown. Its a bit...Spider Man esque and seems a bit too easy, and sometimes doesnt look right, even though the animations are perfectly smooth.

Combat is MAHOOSIVE fun though.

Oh and the graphics are..GTA4 glitched. Loads of pop-ins. High res textures suddenly appearing in place of previously low res textures on buildings and such.

Also the demo is in 720p, and apparenly there isnt much difference in the 1080p version (no 1080i apparently), and it noticeably needs some AA thrown onto it.

Still, cool and entertaining fun.

Terminator Salvation - 7.5/10

Very short, not worth £30, but what is there is quite fun in a "Gears Of War" kind of way, although the cover system pisses all over GoW.

If you've played Wanted you'll kind of know what to expect.

The activities? Seriously?

You thought playing pool with Roman for the millionth time was better then spraying shit all over stuff, riding on car hoods, mayhem, etc?

Fable 2: 8/10

Awesome game. You can do just about anything, except the creators are obviously vegetarians. Why can't my hero eat any meat without getting fat regardless of the fact he runs around hundreds of miles every day?

Imbalancing issues aside, I love eet. My character looks kind of like Van Helsing with his black highwayman coat, scars, master katana and steel clockwork rifle.

FarCry 2: 8/10

Read my thread. I love it except there's not much to blow up in Africa and the few buildings there are, (the shanties don't count) you can't demolish them. This is where I like mercenaries a bit more.

Star Wars: Racer - 9/10

Old, but tons of fun. I haven't played this in years and it's still as fun as when I first got it.

Sniper Elite
7/10

No beautiful graphics like the other games from that time, but the gameplay is a very unique experience, not like the regular shooter :)

Dead Rising - 9/10
Loved it. A bit unforgiving but an excellent game. I like the whole timed aspect and how you have to really get to know the mall.

The ending was a tad lacking though. I actually enjoyed Overtime mode twist and the getting through the mall getting the ingredients and fighting off the black ops. The Tank fight wasn't very fun and being thrust into a hand to hand fight for the first time was a bit annoying. And then ending on the fade to black and roll credits was unsatisfying and then just being told "he escaped" was just a bit "WTF?" Why didn't I get to control/see how he escaped? Did he steal the tank? Did they right the jeep? It was a little annoying and it just seemed like the writing staff couldn't think of a way to get him out of the town.

There are like 8 endings to that game.

First time I played I got the one where everyone dies.

There are like 3 where everyone dies, just in different ways (like story ways, not like shot in head in one, dismembered in the other, etc, but like zombies eat all, helicopter crash, etc)) Also it doesn't help that you quoted it :/

Silent Hill Homecoming - 7/10
Finally finished the game today. It was good. Some decent scares in there but glitches and puzzle after puzzle made it a very tiresome experience.

Mirrors Edge - 8/10

I think this is a really fun game, the fighting is fun, the running is fun, the jumping is fun, etc. I played the demo and had a good time back when it came out, and then just today I seen it for sale at blockbuster for $20, so I bought it and it's just like the demo, I like this game.

King's Quest I: Quest for the Crown - 2/10, or maybe even 1/10

Yes, the old adventure game. I was bored. I made it about 1/4 of the way through the game. I've played King's Quest V before, which I think put me at a disadvantage in KQ1 since I expected that every item was absolutely necessary for a specific task... e.g. in King's Quest V you could buy a pie, but if you ate the pie, you'd play for another few hours only to get stuck in an unwinnable battle against a monster (yes, you use the pie to kill the monster...) with no way of getting another pie.

Anyways, King's Quest I is much more flexible (you can use up gold or diamonds however you want -- it loses points but can still proceed in the game), but not knowing that, I got frustrated and looked up a walkthrough. I started following the walkthrough in the game, then I got bored and just read the whole walkthrough. Turns out, there were things I wanted to do that were correct, but didn't type in the right command in the text box. For example, there's a goat you're supposed to lead with a carrot. I tried "hold carrot" or "take out carrot" or "lead goat with carrot" but apparently you're supposed to "SHOW" the carrot to the goat.

I decided I didn't even want to bother finishing the game.

I hate adventure games.

Jagged Alliance 2 1.13

Second time through the game in years, first time with 1.13 patch. It was a lot harder than I expected it to be, even playing on novice. I had to modify some of the ini settings to make it playable since I was getting my ass kicked after taking Drassen. Like having to turn off the Drassen counter-attack. This made the game extremely frustrating to begin with. Once I got a foothoold though it was similar to the JA2 I know and love with better weapons and A.I..

Overall: 8/10.

Indigo Prophecy / Fahrenheit – 5/10

Initially interesting, thoughtful, and nuanced; ultimately shallow, empty, and worthless. Act II and III, despite possessing potential and interesting philosophical musings, are broken beyond repaire due to the loose, disjointed nature of its absurd narrative and laughable character developments. It's such a shame. Unlike most however, I would applaud the game for transcending its roots - it could have easily been a mere shlock serial-killer case, but it chose to explore something more. Ironically, in doing so it became the ultimate personification of shlock.

I'd probably grant it a 6, but I'm afraid Mr. David "I am an incredibly pretentious, over-indulgent tool" Cage's presence in the ****ing tutorial deem it not worthy of anything above a 5. I cringed throughout the entire thing.
