i know some games that they just release it to make tons of moolah! then release a patch like 4 days after it's released. that sucks! Vavle is good by delaying it and spending more time on it

yea but if it was a gr8 game it wouldn't need patches ;)

i mean all of you who brought BLACK AND WHITE would of liked it more if it wasn't as buggy as it was.

Well, you know, we wouldn't want a Hitman 2-type experience. Half the people could get it to run, and half of those had it constantly crash throughout the game. If I slapped down my hard-earned money for Half-Life 2, and that happened, I would be extremely dissapointed in Valve, and I would probably kill myself. Well, maybe not kill myself. But I would be rather unhappy about that.

The fact of the matter is, no matter how much you defend the game, its delayed. They obviously knew the hype for this was going to be huge and shouldn't of announced the game until at least 3 weeks before it went gold (and they knew that it would reach that deadline)

Hey mods use some intelligence before you close this thread. Your own site has the most recent story being about the delay. We all knew it was delayed if you don't want us to talk about it don't bring it up on the homepage. Sometimes I really question the combined intelligence of theses boards mods, but then I remember that I'm only 17 and haven't learned micromathmatics yet. I hate mods who are at the least lacking in ability.

Need to brush up on your GUMs too (grammar/usage/mechanics):x

The game isn't finished yet, omg.

rather have it finished than missing textures and models and levels and have tones of errors.

You question the intelligence of the board mods because they close or delete posts that are similar if not exact duplicates of topics that have been posted more times in a single day than one can count on both if his or her hands and toes. That's 20+ for the mentioned mods with lowered combined intelligence, right Sweeth?

How about the fact that HL2.net has information about the Half Life 2 delay just like everyother gaming website out there? Bah, "irrelevant" he says!

Don't worry, when you learn micromathematics it will all make sense, honest!

Discussion centered around the Delay of HL2 is fine, IMO, but just posting the same type of deal over and over again is rather boring and unfun - delete em!

Actually, Valve said that the game content is complete and that they were working on playtesting and bugfixing - the general lock up issues, hardware configuration mingles, and the notorious typos in the installation splash screen.
