lol...you should've included this:

5,000,000 copies of vice city sold
2 kids decide to snipe at people

so .0000004% of people who play GTA will be turned into morons who think it's cool.

that's IF you stipulate that GTA actually is the CAUSE of those kids' stupid act...AND that's without including the sales of GTA III...

seriously...this whole violence in video games is getting out of control...and like you also brought up, movies are much more realistic...and shows like the sopranos glorify being in the mob (as if countless other mob movies haven't already done that)

if you're going to attack video games, you'd better be prepared to attack movies, music, video games, the news media, and oh yeah...REALITY(reality is so violent!) all at the same time.

the people who committ these horrible crimes are people who are unable to tell the difference between their own personal fantasies and reality. those "it'd be cool if..." discussions us guys get into as kids (and sometimes adults ) somehow end up being reality for some people...it's a shame, but c'mon...any sane person who has actually played some video games knows how much fun they are and that they don't feel like killing people after playing them

furthermore, the guy advises you to sell all your take-two stock...a stock he cites as having increased 500%. now, you have to assume that he's telling you to sell it on a moral basis, as he isn't talking about any pending lawsuits. but if you bought take-two stock in the first place, you would have to know that they make GTA3. therefore, asking someone who knows perfectly well what they bought to suddenly change their mind and dump all their (hugely wonderful) stock is just retarded.

ok i'm tired of people saying all this bullsh!t about how video games turn people into killers. Considering the situation, the people that commit these crimes are probably trying to find a convenient outlet and find video games to be it. If somebody is impressionable enough to go out and kill someone then it means that there was already something wrong with them in the first place, and if a video game is what caused them to do that, then whose to say that any other violent thing they've witnessed, such as tv, isn't going to cause them to go out and do the same thing. Now how many people in the forums have played halflife, killed some marines, then decided they'd run out to the army base and kill some real ones? I'm guessing that its not alot. A video game isn't something that people cant distinguish from whats fake and whats reality.

Nice letter ChrisD. I actually do try to avoid hitting pedestrians and police officers when I play the GTA games. Sure it gives out points for running over people, but I for one never really cared about my point score (don't really care about points in many games nowadays), I was just playing the game, having fun, and listening to a story along with some 80's music. And now we meet in an abandoned studio... Video killed the radio star... in my mind and in my car... oh-a oh... that song just makes me think of killing Hatians.

In the article, you suggest that an unrealistic video game is more horrible than what michael jacksom ever been accused
to do, which is to been having sex with little children. Do you realize that you've just wrote in your article that
a unrealistic video game is worse than having sex with little children!!
To me, you're a very sick guy that should be locked up in prision and feel how it is to be "close" to other inmates in the
