But in all seriousness, i love all animals, i want a cat, but my mom is allergic to them.
 
If we are talking about news storys of animals saving people, this lady was getting robbed in her house, and the cat leapt onto the guy, he flailed a bit, woman got the weapon, and he ran.

I once had a cat that liked to fight with dogs, and I am not talking about little prissy toy puddles, I mean large aggressive full blooded german shepherds, the bigger the dog, the better. I miss that cat, some ****er ran him over though......;(....:flame:
 
Dogs:
- smell
- need to be taken on walks once, if not twice, a day
- they have AWFUL breath
- they get drool everywhere
- they get you to clean up their crap for them
- they're LOUD
- they generally get too heavy to pick up
- you need to bathe them
- need constant attention
- are always making noise, be it walking, barking, whining, drinking, or eating
- break things when they sit or jump on them
- cannot climb things

Cats:
- rarely smell
- walk themselves
- have bad breath, but don't choke you with it like dogs do
- don't drool everywhere
- clean up their own crap
- are rarely ever loud enough to keep YOU up, let alone your neighbors
- always light enough to pick up
- bathe themselves
- can entertain themselves, and will beg you for attention only on occasion
- don't make a lot of noise
- won't break things by jumping on them
- can climb trees
- PURR <3

dogs don't smell if they're not literally covered with shit and stuff like that. They might smell fora while when they've just been on a walk doing their stuff, but it's not like they smell all the time.

Dogs fail because their owners fail, and I don't think I exaggerate when I say that most dog owners do not know proper canine husbandry or training. Well behaved dogs can be better than cats, but they are so far and few between.
 
my dawgs are bitches. but i love em anyways. i like to have a critter that can take care of its self for the most part.. ie kick it outside and not worry about it.
pitz knows my dogs are badass as hell :D

But seriously... I dont like dogs because they are ****ing loud. The cool ones are anyway. If they were cool, and didnt make noise then they might be a contender, but as it is... cats still win.

Our dog certainly wouldn't save any lives!!! She's totally hyperactive and neurotic! When she was a puppy she was forever bumbing into trees, wheely bins and lamp posts. When she has her Buster collar on she's exactly the same, even though she's seven now!!!

Im not saying I dont like dogs... I do but they arnt better than cats. I would however probably pick my avatar dog over most cats. Hes just special.

Cats are superior to dogs. Dogs are loud, and they don't give you your space. I like my space. I also love my kitty, ^_^.
 
If I had a dog and he was sitting/sleeping on my lap like my cat is now, I wouldn't be able to type.
