Anyone else grab this? It's essentially a light-hearted japanese action RPG, the twist being you also run an item store, meaning you get to see what happens behind the counter and who actually buys all the crap adventurers offload on indiscriminate merchants. It doesn't take itself very seriously, so I wouldn't expect to see a fully modeled economy or anything (people selling you things and then buying them back 2 seconds later isn't uncommon ), but it's really quite addictive, not to mention challenging. It also has a pretty robust adventuring portion to it, which plays out sort of like a cross between Zelda (minus the puzzle solving) and Diablo (minus the endless minutia), in which you can recruit and play as a range of heroes, each with their own weapons and abilities.
Anyway, the RPS review does a much better job of toting it's merits than I can:

There's also a pretty substantial demo up on Steam, and I'd encourage anyone who's curious about the concept to give it a go. It may surprise you.
Disclaimer: If you're one of those types who really can't stand anything with a cutesy anime art style, this probably won't change your mind on that front, but I will say the translation helps reign this in a bit by putting it's own spin on the dialogue instead of leaving everything literal. The story (far as I've played) is pretty light and fluffy, but it's not overflowing with saccharine either, and there are some genuinely charming/funny moments. Also, yes the voices are annoying, but it's only incidental cues and you can turn them off in options.
