Tool, Korn, Deftones, The Darkness, SCHOOLYARD HEROS (a kickass upancoming seattle band. Imagine opera and rock mixed), RATM, Audio Slave, PM5K (If you don't know what this stands for you aren't a fan), AFI, System of a Down, Suicidal Commando, The Muse, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, NIN, Metrix, Offspring, Death Cab for Cutie, QOTSA, The Distillers, Linkin Park and many many more. Though these are my all time faves.

-BTW, the Paris Hilton Sex Tape is worth watching... Kinda...

um, yeah, it's just that my friends (who mostly live in shitty, imo, suburbs) all listen to nin, korn, tool, powerman5000, etc. and my choices are not all indie. pink floyd is, obviously, dominantly 70s, but the rest are 90s-now (has ween been around since the 80s?). to be "indie", they'd need to not be signed with some arbitrarily major label, right? i don't think grandaddy, ween, beck are indie, i don't ****ing know..

edit: oh and paris hilton is such a skank.. ugh!

"Indie" has become more of a genre than a culture now.

I'm not sure if Beck is indie either. Sea Change is acoustic-rock, Midnite Vultures is...christ knows. He's done folk, rock, country...

Umm, I'm not sure...hmmm, I like most of the underground bands here in North Carolina--one especially for its title:

Mighty Zombie Warriors.

No joke either--they have talent in what they play; but their band name really doe'snt do them justice...
