Hell yes, I definitely recommend Scrubs. The best hospital program ever made!!! :E
Edit: For films i would recommend V for Vendetta. Can't beat it IMO.

I'm firmly in the latter, however I'm kind of glad the series was short & sweet as the revelation in the second series kind of blew the premise somewhat.
