"Alyx Awaits"

This was the first of my Half-Life 2 "art", which was probably close to the first digitally imposed image of Alyx on a models body. While rather sad, the novelty remains...

This piece was inspired by the first official Half-Life 2 delay, reflecting back on his conversation with Spitcodfry (fellow forum participant) who visited Valve offices.

I simply had to create this mock after reading through various interviews from the Tokyo Game show and noticing that Doug had stated the game is finished, but they're finishing the language conversion and are smoothing out potential issues.

A few years ago I saw a rather funny image about mistakes, and decided I'd spawn my own version for the special occasion of Valve's leaked Half-Life 2 / Source engine code.

Spotted this image taken at an interview with Gabe Newell revolving around the time of the ATi launch party and simply had to have some fun with it. If anyone has seen dbsynergy's (another fellow forum participant) video documentary of the event, you would have seen obvious signs of the stress Gabe was under during that time.

Inspired by a similar piece, this was simply something that had to be done. For those of you unaware, it was on the 19th of September that network security at Valve offices in Seattle was apparently breached...

I'm disapointed with teh caption for the "These Are Not The Droids You Are Looking For" image think maybe you should have done something with teh creature on his shoulder perhapse it was that creature that told him to delay the game.....
