Release date in 46 days???!???

Hi everyone,

Take a look at the banner above from gameplay, the 'hl2, order your copy now'banner. If you click on it it says 46 days untill release.... and the release date says 28 november....
Does anyone now if this is true?????
I hope so, but I don't trust this....

Gameplay 'thinks' itll be released then, no1 knows for sure.

Yes, but I thought they would know that everyone thinks it's being released in april '04, why do they set such a date then????

Its not comfirmed for april 04. Its not confirmed for any data. The only thing thats confirmed is there is no confirmed date by Doug.

No retailers know when Half-Life 2 will be released.

Vivendi are saying April 2004, while the last we heard from Valve themselves was holiday season 2003. Valve have failed to confirm or deny an April 2004 release.
