Remember this, was always intrigued how they'd pull off a fantasy FPS (Dark Messiah was alright as a proof-of-concept I guess).

Most likely to show off Intel's first dedicated GPU, larrabee. Team Offset is owned by Intel now, so you can bet that Intel wants this game to attract as many people to it's GPU as possible. That said, I was hoping that we'd see some more actual footage when I heard that Offset would be at GDC.

What's the game supposed to be about?

It's an epic fantasy fps with five different classes, i.e. warrior, wizard, engineer, assassin, and paladin. Each class has a strength against one class and a weakness to another (like TF2). Apparently each class will have its own story that builds up to the whole storyline. It will also have multiplayer with gamemodes like deathmatch and castle siege.

UE3 is fairly ugly actually. Let alone from the people I talk to who use the engine, the codebase is a giant blob from consistently getting new stuff piled on.

PO looks better, and is a fresh start.

Initial plans were for it to be on the 360 too, but after Intel bought the company, it looks like this game might only run on computers with Intel's Larrabee processors.
