replacing GPU

couldn't find any thread like this so here it goes: I'm going to buy a new 6800 gt in a few weeks, I have a 5600 and I want to know if after I get the new card, I have to uninstall the current drivers (66.93)?? Or can I just unplug my 5600 and plug in the 6800 and turn on the pc? cuz I know I have to uninstall the drivers if I change for example from nvidia to ati, but if I get the same brand (nvidia on this case) do I have to completely uninstall my drivers or just plug in the new card?

you'd have to un/reinstall. i had to when i rom strapped my 6800 nu to ultra extreme, and i didn't even take the card out of the slot!
