You won't need a new fan if you're getting a retail CPU pack. If it's OEM then yes you will need a new CPU fan. (If you meant case fan I dunno, it depends on whether or not your case comes with them and how many it comes with.) And yes your Radeon 9800 will fit in the new motherboard. And you will most likely have to reinstall windows IF you're using windows XP. But regardless of what OS you're using it's never a bad idea to reinstall after a motherboard swap. And you can give it a shot without reloading if you like but I've only had that work twice. (Out of god knows how many times.) Good luck! -Noodly

3. I would for stability reasons. But it might not be neccasary.

I have to agree with the above posts. Im doing my best not to sound like an asshole here...but if you are unsure of what your doing....you will have ALOT less headaches going with a pre-built system.

I also agree, just go for a prebuilt system.

Lavrik, building PCs isnt rocket science but you atleast have to know what parts to get. Try reading up on some PC building guides online (just search for them). Here's one basic guide from hardocp.com...

I wasnt asking that i wanted a prebult case with fans and power supply and i wont buy a dell anyways my friend used dell and it wasnt good at all.What i am asking is what kind of fans i need for my new configuration and what power supply i need not asking for a PS.If you cant tell me that then tell me what i should buy for the ATX case.Btw i already have a great hardrive and video card why hell would i need a dell.

Ok. Do some research before you think about building a computer, otherwise just get a prebuilt.

Last questions
Does it matter if i buy the cheaper 70 dollar DDR 3500PC or the 135 the guy before mentioned?((i sort of got told that i can only spend 600 and no more a few problems came up but i can buy 1 RAM stick and another one later right?))
And do you think i should get the 2.8 or 3.0?
Last of all how many fancases do u think i should buy and what power suplly do u think i need?

If you don't plan on overclocking, get the cheaper RAM. If you plan on overclocking, get the namebrand with better timings.

The 2.8 is the better deal. $60 for 200 more MHz.. you could just overclock the 2.8 and get the same results for that much cheaper, I'd go with the 2.8

As for case fans, atleast 1 for intake and 1 for exhaust. I'd recommend 2 intake and 2 exhaust, though.

As for the PSU, I'd probably say a 350-400 watt if you go namebrand (Antec, for example). If you decide to go generic for the PSU (most don't suggest it, but I've never had problems with generic PSUs), get no less than a 500watt PSU, otherwise you could run into problems

Thanks for being very helpful but i think i ran into another problem will any ATX fit 4 fans or do i have to buy the ones that cost more?((I was told i can spend 700 dollars now my dad changes his mind a lot))

I assume by ATX you mean ATX case.. in which case, no, most cases have 2 or 3 exhaust/intake mounts for fans.

You can either a. get a case with more (probably will end up costing you more for a decent case) or b. get whatever case and mod it yourself

If you're worried about 4 fans not being able to be plugged in, don't worry about that. They hook into your PSU as pass-through plugs, so they don't use up any needed plugs.

im getting the x-clear from xoxiode, i thikn thats the name of the company, its a online company, gots 5 80mm fan holes, its all clear, and nice, only shit is its not assembled(what a headache).

carefull.....acrylic cases crack/break very easily........
