I completely agree with what Shens said.

The people (and there was one in particular) that went round after that spammer, posting in every single thread he made are just as bad as he is.
Guess what? He signed up just to spam. Comments in his threads aren't likely to make him see the error of his ways.
If someone spams like that, report it, then leave it the hell alone. I'm going to start punishing people that spam in that way, intentional or not.
