It needs a 60/40 split, not a 50/50 split. If 45% of the country disagreed they would be within the limits you defined. (55/45)
No, you got your facts wrong. You need 51 "YAYs" to confirm a nominee. You need 60 to stop the filibuster.

They're still picking and choosing who Bush can nominate to the Senate. I dont think that Republicans are any worse than Democrats.
Again, you aren't showing me any facts. I am saying that Republicans are lying bastards in the sense they said Democrats didn't confirm any judges (like you did and you got that from them).

They are hypocritical bastards as they did the exact same thing but on a much larger scale and now accusse the democrats of not playing by the rules.

And they are corrupt because they play by the rules if the rules are in their favor but change the rules when the rules are against them.

These are all facts we discussed, if you want to show me the Dems doing this fine, if you can't then fine too. But on the above information admit what I asked you to admit. If you show me democrats doing the same thing fine, I will admit that about democrats too.

Whoa whoa there bud. How do you know where I get my information from? In reality I have just heard various people discussing it and must have not gotten all the conversation.

And I'm sure the Dems whined like hell back then about it. However, they couldnt change anything because they didnt control Congress as the Republicans do. There is no way I am going to be able to find articles on this from 8 years ago.

Just as every politican does, Dem or Republican.

Ah, I misread the article. The fact remains that you need a majority though. And both sides have their turns. If the people dont like who Republicans are nominating they will vote them out. When the Dems come up they will nominate people that the Republicans wont like. Its just a big circle.
